About the Panel Guy
My name is Kevin Keane and I live in England. I have worked in construction and the metal insulated composite manufacturing industry for 30 years now. I am 50 years old.
Over the last 30 years I have worked for and with panel manufacturers such as Kingspan, Paroc, Hoesch, Eurobond, Fischer, Tata, Arpanel, Pruszynski and many more.
The last 8 years I have ran my own company selling panels across the UK, Ireland and into Europe but with a global customer and contacts base, because of my honesty and integrity I am asked constantly for advice on specified composite panels for project requirements.
Anyone that knows me, knows I have and will always be honest and truthful about any product in the market and these are things which perhaps don’t fully exist in our industry. An employed member of a manufacturer will maybe never say no or advise on the weaknesses of their products, only the strengths. That is where I come in.
I decided in 2024 that I would start a new business where I would promote ALL products that are available to me across the entire metal panel manufacturers industry. Some will be well known, others not so much. But I will promote a product and company on its merits and quality of product, service, certification etc, not just on the size of the company.
The Panel Guy will launched on the 31st March 2025 and will be a streaming and consultation business. There will be weekly streams talking about products, innovations, certification, regulations, technical requirements and manufacturers as well as having ‘podcasts’ occasionally where clients, architects, contractors can come in and talk about specific topics as above.
I am looking for all manufacturers to send us their most up to date literature in a binder, as well as any panel samples, innovations that may be of interest to our audience. As well as talking openly to our audience about these products, I will be asked by our clients to recommend which to use for a specific performance or criteria. Although I will not be involved in the selling, I will be looking at the projects and then recommending the right company and products, then doing an introduction to that company and its staff.
I am very excited to launch my new venture and I cannot wait to work with my panel manufacturer partners and promote to my audience across the Globe.
